Non Discrimination Policy

Sherman Oaks Cooperative Preschool (“SOCP”) is committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment for all children, families, staff, volunteers, and community members.

SOCP does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, religion, creed, age, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, disability (physical or mental), medical condition, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

This non-discrimination policy applies to all aspects of SOCP operations, including but not limited to admissions, enrollment, educational programming, family participation, employment, volunteer opportunities, board service, and vendor/community partnerships.

SOCP is committed to complying with all applicable civil rights laws and to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities, consistent with applicable law and program requirements.

Any concerns regarding discrimination, harassment, or unequal treatment should be reported to the SOCP Board of Directors (or designated Equity/Compliance contact) for prompt, fair, and confidential review to the extent possible.
